Statement
There's something strangely fulfilling about
suffering through endurance events. An addiction
of sorts, inspired by a need to assess myself
and my limits. Why NOT bag a series of peaks
in a day, or link trails and waterways and
laugh at each others' epic ideas for a long
weekend? How else would you know your limits--
Is it 24 hours of cycling? A 50-mile mountain
run? A multi-sport weekend? A multi-day adventure
race? I always find limits, but they tend
to be moving targets. So, I keep searching.
