A new course for 2004 - A,
solo adventure race that travels from North
Conway, NH, to the top of Tuckerman's Ravine
on Mt. Washington and finishes with a downhill
ski race. The race includes a 7 mile road run,
a 6 mile paddle down the Saco River (Class II),
an 18 mile road bike to the top of Pinkham Notch,
a 3-mile hike to the base of Tuckerman's Ravine,
and a final steep hike up the famous "Headwall"
(with skis in hand) and a rocket-fast ski descent
to the finish.
