Against a stacked field, amateur Nomad hold their own

(5.20.05) – Against a “Who’s-Who” field of adventure racing teams, Cary, Grant, Shibby, and Scott stuck to the Nomad game plan: finish the complete course and an impressive finish is likely. Indeed, as top teams dropped from illness or other problems, Nomad battled a broken pedal, a smashed paddle, and some inopportune (and involuntary) swims in icy waters, but finished with bright smiles after 114 hours.
