Team Nomad readies for Explore Sweden Race - May 10-15, 2005

Cary Kinross-Wright, Scott Cole, Grant Sisler, and Jason "Shibby" Shibata look forward to 20 hours of daylight in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden

(3.1.05) Golden (CO), Vancouver (WA), San Fran (CA), Colorado Springs (CO)-- Nomad is starting preparations for the 500 KM, nonstop Explore Sweden Expedition Race. Though the race no longer supports the "airborne" format, disciplines will include river and lake kayaking, mountain biking, trekking, orienteering, and two unique legs of backcountry ski touring/mountaineering. Pending final decisions from U.S.A.F Military Intelligence, Nomad will be joined by telemark ski extraordinaire Jason "Shibby" Shibata as he tackles his first expedition-length race.
