In the season's big solo multisport race, Scott placed 4th and Emma 5th

2009.06.27. It was a hot day, with clear blue skies, when the 10th ÅEC race started. Sitting in our new Surfski´s on the starting line, we were anxious as ever! Despite some mishaps -- like Scott flipping in the rapid but making a quick re-entry on his ski, and Emma overheating and having to lie down in a puddle of water during the bike -- we performed to our best and delivered strong results. Exhausted and happy, the post-race beer has never tasted so good
