Scott Cole Places 2nd at the Son of Inferno Pentathalon
Scott improves over last year’s
3rd place finish, missing 1st by 36 seconds
(4.19.2003) North Conway,
NH – The 2003 Son of Inferno Penthalon came
down to less than a minute on Mt Washington’s
Hillman’s Highway. After running, paddling,
cycling, and trail running, Scott finally chiseled
away at Erik Grimm’s lead during the 5th
and final leg—a hillclimb and subsequent
downhill ski. Scott closed the gap, but couldn’t
move ahead, finishing 36 seconds behind Grimm.
