Despite a twisted ankle and swollen knee, Scott and Emma delivered a good race

2009.08.22 The running sections, which were long and tricky, became an extra challenge for Emma who suffered a nasty fall only 30 minutes into the race. But she grit her teeth and powered through the next 7 hours and helped put the team on the podium. It didn't "hurt" that Scott and Emma had the best paddling time (men teams included!).
