Nomad places 8th at 2003 Southern Traverse

Full year of preparation ensures Nomad's success as one of 9 teams to complete the full course (out of 31 coed teams of 4).

(11.15.03) Nomad crossed the finish line and shook hands with race director Geoff Hunt at 6 am Saturday morning, after 117 hours of paddling, coasteering, trekking, and mountian biking (during which they slept 9 hours). (Click photo for large vers.)
